The mini-chandelier is perfect for a small entry-way. It looks perfect, elegant in our foyer. We paired it with the Belcaro Walnut ceiling medallion (Minka-Lavery),which complemented it so nicely. The bronze of the chandelier is almost an exact match to the bronze of the medallion, with the chandelier just slightly darker. Noone will be able to see a difference. It looks lovely together.

Back orders - what are they and what do they mean?

In the realm of lighting, we frequently run into "back orders".  Almost every day I receive calls or emails from people frantically searching for a specific chandelier or wall sconce or pendant that they have been told is on back order through another e-tailer.  As e-commerce has grown over the years, we have almost exclusively turned to drop shipping.  What does this mean to you?  Almost all retailers ship your lighting directly from the manufacturers warehouse to your home.  While this eliminates the need for us to stock fixtures and ultimately means you pay a lower price because we have less overhead, it also means if the light is on back order, we have to wait for the manufacturer to build it again.  Back orders for lighting can sometimes be a few weeks or, in extreme cases, several months out.  It is always best to check with us first to verify the light you are seeking is actually available and can be shipped to you right away if you are in a time sensitive situation.  You can call us at 888-488-0885 or contact us via email at sales@lightingshowroom.com for stock information at any time.  If you are in a position to wait for the light that you want and find that it is on back order, the best course of action is to place your order and reserve the stock so that you can avoid further delays.

Plug-In Chandeliers

It seems like we receive requests for plug-in chandeliers weekly yet, there really aren't any "designer" styles out there with a cord and plug which leaves you wondering what to do?  Well, there are a few solutions available:

• contact a lamp mechanic in your area - they or any qualified electrician should be able to convert just about any fixture to a cord and plug for you

The lamps came on time and in perfect condition. The installation was quick, though it took a few minutes (10) to get the trick for shortening the cable right. After that it went without a hitch. As with all halogens, placing the transformer in the ceiling box requires full attention of the installer, but is not complicated (just tight for space). The lamps look great and work like a charm. Dimmers are a recommended addition for mood. Would buy again from both the Showroom and Kovacs.
