LightingShowroom.com Teams with FedEx International to Supply Custom Lighting to Europe

Lighting info brought to you by LightingShowroom.com

LightingShowroom.com is one of the top 5 online retailers of lighting products and has been serving a growing domestic and international clientele of discriminating home owners looking for a full service supplier. Rosemary Wickowski, CEO of Light Styles Internet, LLC., said "We just finished a project for a large private home and we were getting ready to ship it when Kurt Krause, our FedEx rep, talked to us about going by air. We ship a lot domestically with them but hadn't considered serving large international orders that way. In the end it was a great solution for us"

Anita Turner, the LightingShowroom lead for international projects said "We routinely ship small international orders by air but in this situation we were dealing with a 16,000 pound delivery of very high end lighting products. We had a lot of worry about loss or damage, customs, duties, and the specter of stacks of paperwork. It was the largest single lighting package we had ever done and the logistics were a major worry. I'm pleased to say that the deal went off like clockwork." Turner said, "I had assumed that the cost of air freight would simply be too expensive. It wasn't cheap, but when I looked at all the problems of sending a container by ship it just made sense".

Kurt Krause, the FedEx Account Executive said, "I knew we could do a good job for them and I was happy to get the chance. It turned out that this was the largest single international air shipment that had ever been sent from Boise." Krause commented that, "Boise is not a major shipping point for international products so I had to do some extra work to make sure things happened the way they were supposed to, but in the end the combination of Lightingshowroom.com and FedEx made a slick solution for their international client".
Wickowski explained, "We turned the order over to FedEx on Monday and it cleared customs on Friday and was delivered without incident to the customer the following Monday. Exchange rates and the ability to cut through the complexities of the international paperwork now allow us to compete on a much wider stage than has been possible before this. We look forward to developing the high end international lighting marketplace".

Wickowski said "The foundation of our business is customer care. We offer good value in our pricing, but attention to detail, meeting the customer needs, and working hard to anticipate and prevent problems is really what we are about. Value is the combination of quality products, fair pricing, and best in class customer care. Those are the things we work on all the time." She commented that "There have been large numbers of websites that have begun offering lighting products since the economic crisis hit us all. Many approach the market with the idea that all you have to do is have the lowest price. We have found that our focus on the entire customer experience brings us loyal repeat customers and great word of mouth support which allows us to remain one of the top 5 lighting retailers despite greatly increased competition and a difficult housing market."

LightingShowroom.com Begins Serving the UK with Lighting Products

Lighting info brought to you by LightingShowroom.com

Rosemary Wickowski, the CEO of Light Styles Internet LLC, commented that "The Lightingshowroom.com website, www.lightingshowroom.com, is one of the top lighting destinations on the web making Light Styles a premier distributor for home lighting products nationally." She said, " We have had an increasing level of interest from international buyers in the past year and currency exchange rates have made it possible for us to compete successfully for large international jobs. We have been able to sell high end products directly to Europe and we plan to expand our support for those upscale markets".

Anita Turner, customer care lead said, "Over the years we have handled quite a few international orders so we have developed the expertise to deal with the problems posed by such things as customs, duties, taxes, and so on. The kind of complications that keep most US based home product retailers from serving the international market." She said, "I wouldn't call it a boutique business because the projects tend to be fairly large but it is a market segment that requires special expertise. We work with the manufacturers to make certain that the products are configured for the proper electrical systems, for example, just one of the issues we face. We also do extensive inspections, packaging, and crating so that we don't get products half way around the world with problems."

Wickowski said, "The move to advertise our products in the UK allows us to leverage some unique skills and experience we have developed in dealing with large or complex projects and builds on the experience we have supporting large domestic projects."

Wickowski said "The foundation of our business is customer care. We offer good value in our pricing, but attention to detail, meeting the customer needs, and working hard to anticipate and prevent problems is really what we are about. Value is the combination of quality products, fair pricing, and best in class customer care. Those are the things we work on all the time." Lightingshowroom.com Ships Crystal Chandeliers for Princess Diana's Ancestral Homesite

Lighting info brought to you by LightingShowroom.com

LightingShowroom.com is one of the top 5 online retailers of lighting products in the US and has been serving a growing domestic and international clientele of discriminating home owners looking for a full service supplier. Wickowski said, "Our selection as the crystal chandelier supplier for a lighting update of the site of the ancestral home of Princess Diana is because of our dedication to meeting the customer's needs and our extensive experience supporting high end domestic and international projects." Wickowski said, "Keeping the styling and classical traditions intact while updating lighting fixtures is an interesting challenge."

Anita Turner, the LightingShowroom lead for the project said, "Color, finish, and style are always the critical factors in any large lighting project. In this case communication about the details was more complicated than usual. This project was to create a crystal chandelier package for a modern treatment of Princess Diana's ancestral homesite. A key requirement was to maintain the classical traditions and styling while taking advantage of modern crystal technology, design, and manufacturing." Turner said, "One of the most interesting challenges was getting sample approvals. During the early phases of the process the decision maker was traveling throughout the Mediterranean on a yachting vacation. This required us to coordinate the shipment of samples for arrival at a series of ports of call as the trip progressed." Turner commented, "The extensive color pallet and crystal quality available in the modern chandelier makes it possible to achieve really stunning effects but sample approval is key. It is amazing that today's freight and communication systems make it possible to coordinate tasks like that around the world with relative ease."

Wickowski said, "The foundation of our business is customer care. We offer good value in our pricing, but attention to detail, meeting the customer needs, and working hard to anticipate and prevent problems is really what we are about. Value is the combination of quality products, fair pricing, and best in class customer care. Those are the things we work on all the time." LightingShowroom.com to Supply the Fredrick Ramond Quattro Chandelier Collection to a New Private Home in Armidale, New South Wales, Australia

Lighting info brought to you by LightingShowroom.com

LightingShowroom.com is the lighting supplier for a new private residence in Armidale, New South Wales, Australia. According to Wickowski, "Our challenge was to provide a modern lighting package that retained the cultural flavor of traditional Australia in a modern design. The inspiration for the job was the Quattro collection by Fredrick Ramond Lighting." She added, "We've supplied lighting for projects in many countries but this is our first project in New South Wales. We look forward to serving other unique needs in Australia in the future."

Anita Turner, the LightingShowroom.com lead for the project, said "Our goal was to reflect the atmosphere of traditional strong Australia with a modern chandelier. The design goals were rather specific in that we had to have chandeliers that projected a sense of robust strength with a light and forward looking modern flair. We work closely with Fredrick Ramond Lighting and were able to deliver the perfect blend of modern engineering and strong styling to meet the customer's needs."

Armidale is located on the New England Tablelands in northern New South Wales about midway between Sydney and Brisbane and is only two hours from the coast. It enjoys a warm summer, tones of amber during the autumn, a crisp winter and an exhilarating spring, unlike most of Australia. Armidale was first settled in the early 1830s, following the earlier exploration of the area by John Oxley. It was named after Armadale on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Oxley recommended the region for grazing, and soon early pioneers set up small farms in the locality. The town, which was surveyed in 1848 and gazetted in 1849, was established to provide a market and administration for the farms, but soon after gold was discovered at nearby Rocky River and Gara Gorges, and a gold rush ensued, enlarging the town rapidly in the 1850s. As a growing metropolitan city it is attracting a sophisticated professional class and is destined to be a major hub between Sydney and Brisbane.

Wickowsi said, "LightingShowroom.com is one of the top 5 online retailers of lighting products in the US and has been serving a growing domestic and international clientele of discriminating owners looking for a full service supplier. Our selection as the supplier for the lighting needs of the Armidale site is because of our dedication to meeting the customer's needs and our extensive experience supporting high end domestic and international projects."

LightingShowroom.com to Provide The Minka Hyllcastle Lighting Collection To Upgrade 110 Foot Luxury Liveaboard Dive Yacht Atlantis Azores

Lighting info brought to you by LightingShowroom.com

The luxury liveaboard dive yacht Atlantis Azores is updating its guest quarters with elegant new modern styled lighting being supplied by LightingShowroom.com. The 110 foot vessel is an exclusive floating resort carrying up to 16 passengers on diving adventures throughout the Philippines. The person responsible for designing the lighting package said "We wanted lighting which enhanced the elegance of our ship and was suitable for a blue water ocean vessel. It wasn't easy. I called internet sites and visited local shops and no one would help me. Lumen and foot candle specs are important to us as part of our presentation of a luxurious living space but I was unable to get help until I called Anita at LightingShowroom." He continued "Anita was able to answer all my questions, help me choose the right product, and managed my entire project on a tight schedule. I am very pleased with the customer service provided by LightingShowroom."

Anita Turner, the project lead, said, "We frequently deal with special needs, but this was our first refit of a floating luxury hotel. The unique needs of an ocean going vessel are one thing but the need to also fit a luxury environment made it more interesting. We had to consider the ocean environment, size, light output, rugged design, materials, and energy needs to fit this situation." She added, "The Minka Hyllcastle in chrome proved to be a perfect fit and along with several other Minka lighting fixtures will be used throughout the ship."

The luxury Azores liveaboard smoothly weaves its way through a variety of some of the more than 7,100 islands that comprise the Asia-Pacific country, including Anilao, the Visayas Islands and even further afield, west in the world renowned Tubbataha Reef. The boat also does cruises between the Puerto Galera and Dumaguete Atlantis Resorts. The spectacular Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park – whose name in English translates to “a long reef at low tide” – is in the Sulu Sea near the gorgeous island of Palawan. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has also been nominated for one of the new wonders of the world, with hundreds of fish species and coral varieties. Tubbataha is famous for its walls and large numbers of turtles, hammerhead sharks, clownfish, lionfish barracuda, manta rays and moray eels. The vessel provides one of the best diving platforms available for diving holidays.

Wickowsi said, "LightingShowroom.com is one of the top 5 online retailers of lighting products in the US and has been serving a growing domestic and international clientele of discriminating owners looking for a full service supplier. The Minka Group is one of our foundational suppliers which allows us to focus on meeting the customer's needs and supporting high end domestic and international projects with confidence."

Wickowski explained, "The foundation of our business is customer care. We offer good value in our pricing, but attention to detail, meeting the customer needs, and working hard to anticipate and prevent problems is really what we are about. Value is the combination of quality products, fair pricing, and best in class customer care. Those are the things we work on all the time." She commented that, "There have been large numbers of websites that have begun offering lighting products since the economic crisis hit us all. Many approach the market with the idea that all you have to do is have the lowest price. LightingShowroom.com Works with Quoizel to Distribute Tiffany Style Lights and Lighting Fixtures to Japan

Lighting info brought to you by LightingShowroom.com

www.LightingShowroom.com is one of the top 5 online retailers of residential lighting products in the US and has been serving a growing domestic and international clientele. Wickowski said, "We have represented Quoizel products domestically for some time and we recognize them as one of the leading manufacturers of residential lighting." She continued, "Expanding our distribution to include Japan was an easy decision. The styling of part of the Quoizel line is appropriate for that market and the quality of their products is outstanding. We look forward to the continued development of interest in high quality stained glass products in Japan."

Wickowski commented, "Attention to customer's needs and our extensive experience supporting high end domestic and international projects are what lead to this expanding relationship. Major distributors, like Quoizel, are well known but don't normally deal with individual projects. Reliable distributors who can service the end user are an important element in the supply chain."

Anita Turner, the customer care lead for the project, said "The servicing of international clients is a real specialty. Dealing with the customs and duties of the various countries is a complexity that most internet retailers don't do well. We have developed considerable expertise in meeting the lighting needs of international clients but this will be our first shipments into Japan and we look forward to an expanding market there."

Wickowski said, "The foundation of our business is customer care. We offer good value in our pricing, but attention to detail, meeting the customer needs, and working hard to anticipate and prevent problems is really what we are about. Value is the combination of quality products, fair pricing, and best in class customer care.
