I do not consider clear brown glass with splotches of gold a bronze finish - very disappointed as lamp is too formal for my decor. Also, although the coco colored pleated lamp shade is beautiful, it does not go with the lamp base. I just ordered an ivory lampshade on-line to replace this one - another $40.00.

The lamp appears to be of good quality, however, when the lamp is on with an incandescent light bulb, it is a beautiful gold/brown color as pictured on-line. In the daylight, it is a horrible olive green and goes with nothing of my decor.
