We purchased this fixture to place over our round (60\") kitchen table. It is lovely and perfectly compliments the rest of the fixtures from this collection that we purchased for the rest of our home. As with the other fixtures from this collection, the colors are neutral enough to compliment most any colors. I do recommend getting a dimmer switch to operate this fixture as the light can get very bright with this number of lights facing downward (as with all downlights). This was a great buy.

We purchased several fixtures from Meridian Golden Lighting Bronze collection. The pictures don\\\'t do this (or the other fixtures) justice. In person, the two levels do not look as compact as they appear in the photo. The chandelier is lovely. We removed a fan & put it up in our Great Room & it looks absolutely fantastic. The colors our neutral enough to blend very well with the color scheme in our Great Room. It was a great buy. Highly recommended.

Anita's Pick of the Week

Let me introduce the Clarte' Family! I recently had the opportunity to see this family in person and I was "WOWED"!!! There is just no way that images can do this family justice so that is why it is my pick of the week, I know, the "pick" is supposed to be an item but this week we are making an exception and sharing a family!

So, just what makes this family so special?

It is available in a Chrome finish or a Patina Iron, which is a grayish-brown mottled finish that will complement almost any color scheme you have going on.

A bit on the contemporary side but not too much - this family would fit nicely in an updated bathroom.

So, while finish and style are both great, that is not the "WOW" factor here - it is the glass!!! I fell in love with the glass when I saw these in person - what you can't see in the pictures is that the inside of the glass for the vanity lights is lined with thousands of little crystals so when the light is on the glass comes alive with light! I am a bit of a "bling" girl so of the two I prefer the Chrome version with the White Iris glass as it has a bit more sparkle than the Iron Patina with the Deep Spumanti Lace glass but either way - both of them are just stunning!

The lamp itself looks elegant but has a practical design flaw. The on/off switch is approximately 12 inches along the cord which emerges from the tail of the lamp arm. Consequently you need to keep that length of cord on your desktop so it is in easy reach (but ugly), or you can hide the cord off the table edge, but of course then you can\'t reach it easily. The lamp would have been much better with a switch on the base.
