Its hard to choose light fixtures on the internet without seeing it, but I was very nervous about choosing this one. I will say it was a relief when I opened the box and saw it. I had to hire someone to put it up and and wow, it looks so much better in person. It looks very nice even the guys that were putting it up said wow. I made a very good choose. I love the lights, and they arrived very quickly. There was only one problem. The external caps that screw on and hold the lights in place, the threads were messed up. There were 2 extra caps included , but only one of those would work. My electrician had a heck of a time getting 2 caps that would screw on. The semi-flush light and the bathroom light had the same problem with the caps. Otherwise, the lights are great!!

Tips on Lighting a Hallway

Hallways don't need to be boring!  Though this area of your home is often forgotten when it comes to designing, it shouldn't be - it is one of the most frequently used areas of your home and should be an extension of the rest of your decor.  For shorter hallway areas, a nice flush or semi-flush ceiling light would be a great accent or, if you have taller ceilings a nice pendant would be a nice addition to this space. If you have a long hallway, you may want to consider sconces.  They have a wonderful aesthetic appeal!  To place sconces in your hallway (or any other area of your home) you want to space them every 8-10 feet and they should be approximately 60 inches off of the floor.
