Bathroom Vanity Light Product Code: 3711-ba4-cb

Product Code: 3711-ba4-cb
The light we chose is working well in our guest bathroom. Though it doesn\'t give off as much light as our previous one it is adequate for the room. It was delivered in a very timely manner and installation was fairly easy. Because the light bulbs can be seen we went for regular 75 watt incandescent bulbs.

I love the look of this lamp -- very classy and truly a \"statement\" lamp. I also applaud your organization on its thorough method of packing fragile objects -- a great bonus for online shoppers!

Drums, Drums and More Drums

The latest lighting trend seems to be drum style pendants and chandeliers surrounded by drum shades.  There are hundreds to choose from and the choices can be almost intoxicating!  There are drum shades in fabric, glass, acrylic and metal.  They range is design from clean and simple to stunning to eye-popping conversational art that can only be described as amazing!  With the move towards "going green" there are also a lot of new designs featuring organic materials embedded in the shade material such as ferns, wheat grass and even coffee beans!  There are drums made up of glass cylinders inserted in a metal ring, there are drums made from weaving materials together into a pattern and there are drums with a filigree laser cut pattern on a metal or fabric shade which seem to be the most popular choice at the moment.  One of the coolest designs I have seen is the "Jellyfish" by Cyan Design - this stunning fixture is available in a variety of colors and features multiple waving glass arms flowing in all directions that are surrounded by a fabric drum shade (the link is below) - these are just too cool for words to describe!  With the multitude of options to choose from, there is a drum pendant or chandelier to suit any style you have in mind!

How many types of Nickel finishes are there?

What is the difference in finishes? Just to name a few, there is Satin Nickel, Polished Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Antique Nickel - how do you define what each one is?

A Satin Nickel finish is typically "satin" or "velvety" in appearance and somewhat dull

A Polished Nickel tends to be very shiny, similar to Chrome but greyer in overall color tone

A Brushed Nickel finish is also dull but usually has abrasion or bush marks on the surface

An Antique Nickel finish can range from darker gray to almost black depending on the manufacturer and can be either very smooth or alternatively, can also have some brushing or streaking to make it look more aged.

While all finished are popular, the one you choose is all about personal preference.

fixture makes the room pop Product Code: 4508vz

Product Code: 4508vz
This is a great looking light. It really makes the room look fabulous. The only frustration is that my electrician was having a hard time with the down rods landing in the top and hanging correctly. He had to work on it it for a which made the bill for his installation $270-ouch. Love the results!
