How many types of Nickel finishes are there?

What is the difference in finishes? Just to name a few, there is Satin Nickel, Polished Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Antique Nickel - how do you define what each one is?

A Satin Nickel finish is typically "satin" or "velvety" in appearance and somewhat dull

A Polished Nickel tends to be very shiny, similar to Chrome but greyer in overall color tone

A Brushed Nickel finish is also dull but usually has abrasion or bush marks on the surface

An Antique Nickel finish can range from darker gray to almost black depending on the manufacturer and can be either very smooth or alternatively, can also have some brushing or streaking to make it look more aged.

While all finished are popular, the one you choose is all about personal preference.
