Setting your fears to rest

Hello again,

we recently received an email from a customer wondering if we are legit; in today's world of Internet scams, this is a legitimate concern. We thought it was important to share this communication with you, so please take a moment and read the correspondence below. I'm looking for the isabella burnished brass semi-flush mount bath fixture by Hinkley. You guys have the best price and the best shipping time, as well as free fedex shipping. It just seems too good to be true. Everyone else is 2-4 weeks or 4-6 weeks shipping. I need this light fixture within two weeks.

The problem is, I can't find customer review for you other than one. There are enough comlete scams out there that it worries me to not have you reviewed by anyone. I've tried Nextag (they have one review), BizRate (they have the same review), but
shopping.com, yahoo.com, msn.com, aol.com, and other shopping stores don't have any feedback on your company.

I don't have time to waste with chargbacks (I've done them in the past when necessary) and I don't have time to deal with sending back broken products.

I know it's a stupid question to ask you guys. But are you legitimate? Will I receive the product ordered and in good condition? Will I receive it in a timely manner? Do you have any customers I can e-mail and ask how their shopping with you went?

Sorry to be such a freak, but I've seen lots of horrible reviews for alot of complete scam artists in this industry and it makes me wary that you don't have any reviews.

We agree, it is a dangerous world out there and there are too many scams generated from the internet these days. Our sister company has been in business locally, in Boise, ID for several years. We just recently branched out to the internet, which we have been operating since January. Our customer reviews are growing as our business grows, but they are not always visible at the locations you were shopping. We feel that in today’s technological society, blogging is fast becoming the way to communicate. Not only does it allow us to post our reviews and ideas, it is also a way of communicating with our customers as it allows them to blog us as well.

The Isabella semi-flush, 5391BB, is currently in stock and, if you placed your order today, it would ship no later than next Monday. Depending on your location, you should receive it within 2-5 days of shipping. In regards to damage, this is not a problem. We very seldom have damage issues as items are very well packaged. If you do receive your light and something is broken, lets say the glass, you would simply need to email us or call us directly and we will get a replacement out to you right away. In the event that the fixture needs to be replaced entirely, which is very unlikely, we would also handle getting the item picked up from your location.
