I hung this light in a pumpkin colored living room, ceiling height 7.5 feet. The top and bottom edges appear brown, but when lit, they're orange. It looks great.

Very happy with the lights. Unfortunately, a few (2-3) had chips in the glass. The chips weren't major and aren't noticeable after mounting the lights. I ordered 10 so this was to be expected.
